Greg Adamson 3274. 300dpi Dr. Greg Adamson is an Associate Professor (honorary) at the University of Melbourne School of Engineering and chair of the IEEE Standards Association Special Interest Group on Blockchain. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1999 including managing cyber security and operational risk for a $1.7bn business unit within a major Australian bank. His first bitcoin research was presented in mid-2014. In addition to financial services, he is President of the IEEE Society on Social Implications of Technology; chair of the IEEE Ad Hoc on TechEthics; and chair of the IEEE Internet Initiative sub-committee on External Engagements and Contributions.
